Achenbach sets the tone for digital transformation in assembly with the ATLAS project

Last week marked a significant milestone for Achenbach with the successful launch of the ATLAS project. Under the motto "Together on the road to digitalization in assembly", this project unites the forces of company management, employees, works council and trade union to develop innovative solutions for future-oriented assembly.

The core objective of ATLAS is to create a holistic digitalization strategy through a participatory approach. By using our digital platform, Achenbach OPTILINK, we want to set the course for more efficient and future-proof assembly.

The kick-off of the project was characterized by intensive discussions, valuable insights and an innovative exchange of ideas. Under the professional moderation of Inger Korfluer from Sustain Consult and Gabi Schilling from IG Metall NRW, different perspectives and specialist areas such as management, IT, construction and the plant were brought together to promote a broad understanding and new insights.

The results achieved form a solid foundation for the further course of the project. We are confident that the collaboration between all those involved will help to further optimize our assembly processes and drive forward digitalization.
