Dual student wins prize at young talent symposium

Jonathan Bechtel, dual student in mechanical engineering, is currently writing his master's thesis at Achenbach under the supervision of Dr.-Ing. Sandra Groos on the subject of acoustic analysis and optimization of the welding shop. He recently had the opportunity to present parts of his work to a wide audience of experts from the fields of occupational medicine, occupational physiology and ergonomics at the 26th Symposium on Occupational Medicine and Ergonomics in Wolfsburg. He was awarded 2nd prize for his presentation entitled “Determining the daily noise exposure level in the welding shop: an approach taking into account variable work processes” and was thus able to prevail against very strong competition.

We congratulate Jonathan Bechtel on this well-deserved success and wish him a successful completion of his Master's thesis, which he will finish in January 2025.
