Green.Lean.Digital. not only refers to our products but means paying attention to sustainability regarding our own production and behaviour in every day working life. Supported by an intern Energy Management System based on Achenbach OPTILINK® technology we are continuously reducing the CO2 footprint of our Kreuztal Headquarters.
Specific measures such as the energetic renovation of office and production buildings, conversion of lightning to LED, procurement of eco-electricity as well as the continuous replacement of the fleet with electrical vehicles have already led to a significant reduction of energy consumption. Only recently, moreover, a 40kWp solar power plant has been installed on the roof of our largest production hall. As emissions from electricity and gas consumption have already been reduced by 67% since 2000, the goal is to bring CO2 output to 0.
