Mechanical engineers from all over Germany at the Commerzbank Business:forum Machinery & Engineering 2024 in Buschhütten

Yesterday, at the invitation of Commerzbank, around 100 mechanical engineers from all over Germany met at the Buschhütten campus to discuss the opportunities and challenges of AI in mechanical engineering at the Business:forum Machinery & Engineering 2024. In his presentation, our CEO André E. Barten emphasised the important role of domain knowledge in connection with AI, which Achenbach has already made usable for its customers by analysing data with the cloud-based tool OPTILINK. During the subsequent panel discussion, it became clear that companies will not be able to avoid using AI as a tool to strengthen their competitive position, provided that the problems and pain points are known. We would like to thank Commerzbank for allowing us to be not only participants but also hosts of this successful and informative day and are already looking forward to its continuation next year.
