The Marketing Talents from the University of Siegen kicked off the new year with an exciting factory visit and workshop at Achenbach Buschhütten. The aim of the visit was not only to get to know the company itself, but also to learn more about Achenbach's marketing and communication activities.
Dr. Antonia Barten, Marketing Director at Achenbach, warmly welcomed the students and gave them a comprehensive introduction to the company. Marcus Cramer, Head of the Rolling Mills Division, then guided the students through the fascinating factory halls, where they were given an insight into the production of high-tech machines and systems. The lively reports from long-standing employees, who have been part of the Achenbach family for decades, contributed to an authentic atmosphere.
The visit continued with an intensive workshop that enabled the students to gain detailed insights into Achenbach's marketing activities. Over refreshments of coffee, cake and sandwiches, the students were not only able to listen, but were also actively involved in the workshop. They had the opportunity to work on relevant issues and contribute their own ideas.
The plant visit to Achenbach Buschhütten was not only instructive for the students, but also an enriching combination of theory and practice. Our company shows a clear interest in promoting young talent by not only sharing our knowledge, but also offering space for active participation. Such visits provide valuable insights and also promote close links with our regional educational institutions. An all-round successful day for both sides!
