As part of the @ATLAS (Automotive Transformation Platform South Westphalia) project, our assembly specialists have made their own contribution to the digital transformation and thus to strengthening our location. Specifically, the project funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK) was about digitising drawings and parts lists in order to work better and more smoothly with complex designs in assembly. Employees from the assembly department were able to contribute their own suggestions to the project, which were implemented in the company's own digital platform Achenbach OPTILINK® by @Roger Feist's team. After the prototype was put into operation, it was continuously improved in close dialogue with the assembly employees concerned and optimised for daily practical use. On site, Achenbach was accompanied and expertly advised by @Gabi Schilling, trade union secretary of IGM NRW, and @Mrs Inger Korflür, authorised signatory at @ SUSTAIN І CONSULT, in regular project steering groups. At the final meeting, the project was honoured by all those involved and the next ideas for the future were developed. After all, our Green.Lean.Digital. vision not only relates to the improvement of our customers' products and processes, but also to successful and forward-looking work in our own company, in which we actively shape the digital transformation together - the project has made a decisive contribution to this.
